Erik Benson

Erik comes to TriValley Ice with over 15 years of professional show experience. He has had the honor of touring internationally with major companies from all around the world -- Disney on Ice, Stage Entertainment (Holiday on Ice), Royal Caribbean International, and Woodstock Productions to mention a few.

Being a member of the USFSA and PSA, Erik continues to excel in his coaching skills of all levels from Tiny Tots to Adults. Specializes in spins, jumps, technique, artistry, character development, basic skills, off-ice training, and power skating.

Alea Delmastro

Alea Delmastro is a US Figure Skating Association (USFSA) triple gold medalist in freestyle,moves in the field, and solo pattern dance. She was among the top 10 nationally at the 2014 USFSA Solo Ice Dance Series Championship. She also has competed internationally at the Novice Level representing both Italy and the U.K. while living abroad. She will attend Stanford University in the fall.

She is available to teach all levels of skaters and ages.

Michael Dimalanta

Michael Dimalanta has been skating since 1996. Watching the sport on TV is what made him want to take up the sport of figure skating. He trained in the Bay Area, LA, Utah, and Iowa, learning various techniques from the likes of Robin White, Salome Brunner, Robert Wagenhoffer, Mark Cockerell, Surya Bonaly, and Frank Carroll. A multiple regional & sectional champion/medallist, he has also twice competed at the U.S. National Championships in 2001 & 2002. In the 2008-2009 season, he became Philippine National Champion and competed at the World Championships. He's been in numerous professional shows such as Disney's High School Musical, Disney on Ice, and Holiday on Ice touring internationally since 2007.

Coaching since 2000, Tri-Valley Ice is now his main training facility. He has coached regional, sectional, and national level skaters. Passion-driven, he is a great motivator, and loves to encourage skaters to achieve their goals while focusing on a strong base of skating techniques and choreography.
